Text by Pamela Martin
Based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To everything there is a season,
for every life there comes a time.
We search for truth, we look for reason,
for every song we search for rhyme.
A time to plant, a time for harvest,
a time to fall, a time to build.
A time to scatter, time to gather,
for every task there comes a time.
A time to weep in sorrow,
a time for laughter and love.
And then comes a time,
At last, there’s a time for dancing.
For everything there is a season.
For every loss, a time to find.
A time to hope, a time for healing.
For every life there comes a time.
For every heart there comes a time,
For every song we search for rhyme.
For everything there comes a time.
